GENERAL OVERVIEW
The project entailed moving kindergarteners out of modulars into permanent buildings and renovation of all campus bathrooms and reroofing. This four-classroom kindergarten building was designed in a New Mexico territorial style to fit in with the existing campus. Passive solar and daylighting was provided to all classrooms as well as the Lobby/Assembly area. We used colors and native animal symbols to identify classrooms and spaces for the students on this historic Alameda Pueblo site.
