This not-for-profit developer utilized a new State Tax, tax credit program in a very inventive way. The property was owned and managed by the City of Socorro. Under the agreement, the property was donated to a non-profit who was awarded ½ the value of the property in tax credits which they parlayed with other funding sources to conduct the renovated.
